All Hallows Catholic High School, Penwortham
3rd to the 9th of April 2026
Accessibility
It’s extremely important to us that BJC is an accessible event for anyone who wants to attend. As our planning for the event progresses we will add more information here.Tickets:
- Carers tickets are available (email: bjc2026@hotmail.com)
- The inside toilets and showers are not accessible, we will be bringing in accessible toilets and showers and these will be positioned throughout the site.
- Accessible parking spaces – there are some on site, let us know when you book your car parking ticket if you need one.
- Accessible camping area: marked out and reserved at the closest point to the buildings to reduce daily commute.
- All inside areas are on the ground floor.
- Sensory room
- Parent & toddler room
- Reflection & Multifaith space
- We have a separate accessible entrance for wheelchair users. Please let us know when you buy your ticket if you will be using a wheelchair and we will email you the code you need in advance of the event.
- Earplugs will be available at the shows (or from reg desk in between)
- Shows will contain trigger warnings (let us know of any specific triggers you want us to be aware of)
- Technology willing, there will be a separate screening area where you can watch the main shows away from the main show space.
- Supported Seating: if you struggle to stand in a queue for long periods of time or need early access to the show, head to Reg Desk 30 minutes before a show starts.
- The 3pm showing of our gala show will be slightly more relaxed: less expectation to sit still; reduced sound volume/intensity; no latex balloons. It will also be BSL interpreted. When you arrive at reg desk, please make it clear if you require a ticket to the 3pm showing for accessibility reasons.
- Colour coded timetable alongside symbols to help you easily filter and identify the workshops you are interested in.
- Fridge access can be arranged if needed for medicine etc.
- Assistance dogs are welcome on site (you will need to agree to a Code of Conduct for the dog on entry to the event, which includes always remaining with the dog).
When you purchase a ticket, there is an opportunity to tell us what accessibility needs you have – let us know the things we can do to make the event easier for you to attend and enjoy. Telling us what you might need in advance lets our team be as prepared as possible.
